For my own projects, I keep coming back to one question: "Can I get someone I don't know to pay $1 for something I built?"

A little backstory
I grew up in Kawakawa Bay, New Zealand, listening to Enya and dreaming of being a fighter pilot. Later I wanted to figure out the answer to life, the universe and everything.
I once told my primary 3 teacher that I'd found a new way to do multiplication. She said, "No, you can't do it that way," so I walked out of class never to return. I've been questioning things ever since.
I loved my SuperNES, then found my way onto the web via Windows 95, a pink iMac, and 56k. Plenty of time to think between page loads.
